About Me

Welcome everyone!

I am Aveeania Sandoval and I am going to give you a little background about myself. I am a junior at Texas State University– the greatest university of all! I am majoring in Journalism and minoring in Political science. I am from Killeen, Texas or many know it by Fort Hood.

I am a very family-oriented girl. Most of my family lives in Austin/Round Rock, Texas area, which isn’t too far from San Marcos, Texas at all so I’m there almost every other weekend. Although I grew up in Killeen, Texas, Round Rock, Texas is more of a home to me now. I have three siblings, two brothers and one sister and I have a very close relationship with all of them. I am extremely close with my sister though, because we only have an eleven month difference in age. So we were able to grow up during the same stages of life and bond over experiences.

I’m so happy to say most of my friends from home in Round Rock followed me here to San Marcos to become bobcats too. The friends that I’ve met after high school in Round Rock have been my closest. I went to Austin Community College in Round Rock, Texas so I worked at this place called Flix Brewhouse where I met some of my closest friends in life. I was lucky enough to have about five of my friends from work came to Texas State. My roommate is my cousin’s best friend and she needed a roommate so that worked out perfectly. We would hang out here-and-there when we were both with my cousin but since living together she has become a best friend of mine. Having them here with me has been great because we are all supportive of each other, definitely since we’re all transfer students.

Lastly, I would like to dive into what my blog topic will be about. I might be one of the biggest Sex and the City fans ever, but I can say with honesty that there is a lot to critique and love about the show. So, I am going to be watching an episode a week and writing my overall thoughts, critiques, and relating it back to real life situations. This will be a cheeky review with the insight of a college chick from Texas. Carrie would always start her column with “I couldn’t help but wonder,” stay tune and find out!
